With over 34 years’ experience in the construction and engineering industry, Jonathan brings deep market knowledge and a clear understanding of what clients and candidates truly need. He founded Mech Tech after identifying a gap in the market created by corporate recruitment failings—building a business focused on delivering a better service while remaining cost-effective and commercially sound.
Jonathan’s leadership is rooted in integrity, experience, and long-term relationships. Outside of work, you’ll most likely find him on the golf course.

I’ve been part of Mech Tech alongside Jonathan since the company’s early beginnings in 2014. As Finance and Operations Director, I lead the Head Office team across Finance, Accounts, Payroll, and Credit Control, while also overseeing the wider operational functions that keep the business running smoothly.

Outside of work, life is busy with two children, planning the next stage of our house renovation, or spending time under a barbell. When I do slow down, you’ll usually find me enjoying good food and quality time with my family.

Marc has been part of Mech Tech since 2016 and has played an active role in supporting the business’s growth and continued success. Passionate about developing people, he works closely with his team to deliver on service promises and build long-term relationships with clients and candidates alike. Marc is excited about the future of the business and the opportunities ahead as Mech Tech continues to evolve.

Outside of work, Marc is a husband and a proud father to two young girls. He enjoys pushing himself physically through endurance challenges and is currently training with the goal of completing Ironman Wales in 2027, with his wife’s blessing.

My role involves building strong working relationships, understanding site demands, and helping deliver a reliable and compliant service across every assignment.

Outside of work, I enjoy staying active through running and regular gym sessions. I’m also involved with a local football team, where I both play and coach, something I’m particularly passionate about. When time allows, I also enjoy spending quality time with my family.

Since joining Mech Tech in July 2019, I’ve had the opportunity to watch the business grow and strengthen year on year. My role is centred on making sure both clients and candidates are properly supported, receiving a consistently high level of service delivered by myself and the team around me. I take pride in building strong relationships and ensuring every interaction reflects the standards Mech Tech is known for.

Away from the office, I enjoy unwinding at the local pub with a Dark Fruits in hand or spending time following what I firmly believe to be the best football team in the world, Cardiff City.
