A senior role within a highly regulated environment. Our client is seeking a Site Manager to support piping and mechanical installation works on a major project in Somerset.
This role is responsible for leading site delivery, ensuring installation activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with programme and quality requirements.
What you will be doing:
- Leading piping and mechanical installation works on site in Somerset, including welding, pipe supports, and associated activities
- Ensuring all construction activities are delivered safely and in line with specifications and procedures
- Coordinating site teams, supervisors, and subcontractors to meet programme targets
- Monitoring progress and implementing corrective actions to address delays or performance issues
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards, inspections, and mechanical completion requirements
What experience you need:
- Proven track record as a Site Manager delivering piping or mechanical installation works
- Strong background within construction, energy, or major infrastructure projects
- Experience working in highly regulated environments such as nuclear, oil & gas, or petrochemical
- Strong leadership experience managing site teams and subcontractors
- Mechanical or piping background with relevant site qualifications
- Ability to pass SC clearance
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- £110,000 – £130,000 base salary
- £6,400 car allowance andy
- £12,000 HPC allowance
- Bonus scheme (up to 20% of base salary)
- Permanent position
- Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (site-based)
