Mechtech Professionals are looking to speak with Electrical Project Engineers based in the North East looking for new permanent employment opportunities in 2026.

Our client is a leading M&E Building Services company specialising in projects right across the UK within the Commercial, Industrial, Data Centre & Critical Infrastructure sectors.

Qualifications (Desirable):
* HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services.
* 18th Edition (BS 7671).
* SMSTS / SSSTS.
Experience acting as an Authorised or Competent Person (advantageous).

Previous experience of working on Critical Infrastructure environments is an advantage, including:
* HV Switchgear.
* Standby Power Generation.
* AC & DC UPS systems.
* Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
* Strong technical, organisational, and communication skills.
