Human Resources Officer

Job Title: HR Officer
Job Type: Full-time 8:45am – 16:45pm, Monday to Friday
Salary: £40,000 plus excellent benefits
Location: Bridgend – South Wales

Our client a leading provider of complete engineering management and support for the maritime and industrial industries are looking to recruit a HR Officer for their prestigious site based in Bridgend. The HR Officer will play an integral role in assisting the HR & Payroll Manager in all aspects of HR, from initial contract documentation to employee HR management.

Salary: £40,000 plus excellent benefits.

Working hours: 8:45am – 16:45pm, Monday to Friday

Benefits to include: 33 days holiday, pension.

Location: Bridgend

HR Officer Responsibilities:

  • Assist with recruitment process and onboarding new starters, letters and contracts.
  • Provide employee welfare support
  • Resolve HR queries
  • Assist with holiday and absence management
  • Provide reports to management
  • Keep abreast of relevant changes in legislation
  • General compliance, completing visa right to work checks.

 

The successful candidate:

  • Completed or working towards professional accreditation in HR.
  • Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Packages (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
  • Adept at creating clear and effective HR templates and letters
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage time effectively, meeting objectives and deadlines
  • Data management skills
  • Strong and effective communicator, both written and verbal
  • Comfortable working alone and also in a small team.
